Feversham Education Trust has the intention to open a girls school in each of the following areas.

Feversham Education Trust (FET) is an Academy Sponsor situated in Bradford, borne out of the incredible success of Feversham Academy, an outstanding girls school.

Our mission is simple, to provide the best quality of education in a secure learning environment.

FET is dedicated to improving the life chances of all learners. The Trust is a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of providing quality support and challenge to ensure outstanding outcomes for all learners in our schools.

FET will:

  • Set standards of excellence in teaching and learning in all of its academies.
  • Have high expectations of all of its learners in standards of achievement, behavior and school attendance.
  • Create an environment that respects and values the dignity, integrity and special needs of all our learners regardless of age, race, religion and gender.
  • Provide outstanding leadership and educational services that will improve the lives of young learners.

All of the academies in the Trust will:

  • Set a curriculum that will ensure all learners from all backgrounds will be challenged intellectually and stimulated morally.
  • Instill values that recognise the individual needs of its learners, cultures and community.
  • Ensure robust governance and leadership underpinned by high level accountability at all levels.

About our Trust

Feversham Academy

Feversham Academy has consistently ranked in the first percentile in the country for value added.  The academy was awarded teaching school status in 2012, with an established legal partnership with Skipton Girls High School for both our Teaching Schools; Northern Lights Teaching School Alliance. We work with over 20 key partners on improving outcomes for learners, leadership development and recruitment of teachers. Feversham Academy is also a National Support School.

Bronte Girls Academy

Our proposal for an 11-16 girls Free School with a four form entry called Bronte Girls Academy (BGA) has been approved and we will open our doors in September 2019. The academy will cater for girls from the local BD4 area of Bradford

Queensbury Academy

Queensbury  became an academy and joined Feversham Education Trust in September 2016. We have been a popular choice with parents for many years. There are approximately 960 students on roll. Queensbury Academy is a friendly, thriving and stimulating place to work and study. We expect that every student will achieve their very best.

Northern Lights Teaching School Alliance

The Trust has committed to a joint venture company with its Teaching School, creating the Northern Lights Teaching School Alliance (NLTSA) which serves a wide and adverse alliance of schools. The core offer of NLTSA includes the offer of training and support for the alliance and identifying and co-coordinating expertise to support the following:

  • Specialist Leaders of Education
  • School to School Support
  • Research and Development
